Mr. Himanshu Barman
Founder Trustee
A banker turned social entrepreneur, Mr. Himanshu Barman brings over 12 years of banking experience to his community-focused mission. He is a certified financial planner and investment counsellor, with deep expertise in stock markets, mutual funds, and insurance.
Himanshu holds an MBA in Marketing from Tezpur University and is an alumnus of Sainik School Goalpara and Gauhati University. He is a certified trainer in entrepreneurship and life skills from NEISBUD, Delhi.
He was selected for the 6th Cohort on Social Entrepreneurship by TISS Mumbai, and has co-authored research in microfinance and livelihood development. His collaborative idea on sustainable menstrual hygiene was chosen among the top 75 ideas by NITI Aayog in 2023.
Currently, he works as a Project Manager at the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship, bringing his expertise in livelihood and community development into real-world impact.
Dr. Nandini Borah
Founder Trustee
Dr. Nandini Borah is a researcher, academician, and development thinker with over a decade of experience in teaching and research. She earned her PhD from Assam Science and Technology University, with postgraduate studies from Tezpur University and undergraduate studies at Cotton College.
She is a UGC-NET qualified scholar, and has served at institutions such as TISS Guwahati, Royal Global University, Assam Don Bosco University, and the Assam Institute of Management.
Her expertise spans technology adoption, sustainability, and behavioral change, especially among marginalized communities. She was awarded a fellowship by Earthwatch Institute India and a research grant from ICSSR.
Her collaborative idea on menstrual cup adoption was recognized among NITI Aayog’s top 75 ideas for LiFE in 2023.
She is passionate about grassroots empowerment and believes in data-driven, inclusive models of development.
