As the implementation partner for the RUVP (Rashtriya Udyamita Vikas Pariyojana) Pilot Project, Kalpavriksha Trust provided 21 weeks of intensive mentoring and handholding support to 1,045 street vendors across the cities of Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Silchar, and Shillong. KT led the development of the project’s baseline study, designed capacity-building sessions, and conducted a detailed impact assessment of the PM-SVANidhi scheme. The initiative aimed to improve vendor resilience, promote financial inclusion, and enhance access to urban livelihood entitlements.
